Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 Annually + Commission

Overview: Nexus HR is looking for a young, motivated, energetic, and hungry-for-growth sales professional who is willing to call and is ready to work towards growth and innovation in the Information Technology industry.

About the job: 

Your main goal is to create new partnerships with clients needing Managed IT Services, business continuity, and cybersecurity. You’ll be responsible for identifying business opportunities, negotiating and closing partnerships, and contributing to our rapid growth in managed services/cybersecurity.

  • Willingness and flexibility to travel as required for business needs

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prospect target organizations through networking, email, LinkedIn, social media, and digital channels to secure product demos.

  • Partner with the Director of Business Development to expand sales and marketing channels.

  • Generate qualified leads, manage the sales pipeline, and close new business opportunities.

  • Identify customer needs and independently present tailored product solutions.

  • Introduce and promote cloud solutions through client discussions and product demonstrations.

  • Conduct sales meetings with key decision-makers to advance opportunities.

  • Follow up on inquiries and maintain ongoing client engagement.

  • Meet or exceed revenue and customer acquisition targets.

  • Conduct in-person outreach, visiting up to 100 businesses weekly.

  • Drive revenue through consistent engagement with target prospects and customers.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Experience in lead generation, B2B sales, and cold calling preferred

  • Territorial or canvassing sales experience is a plus

  • IT industry experience preferred

  • Willing and able to travel up to 50% for client meetings, trade shows, and partner events

  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel between offices and clinics

  • Strong communication skills and business acumen

  • Highly organized with strong multitasking and follow-up abilities

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Able to work in Folsom, CA
