Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 per year (open for negotiation)

Overview: Nexus HR is looking for a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist for an outpatient clinic in Marina del Rey, CA. 

About the Job

This position is for a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist focused on evaluating and treating patients with pelvic floor dysfunction, including conditions such as incontinence, pelvic pain, postpartum recovery, and pelvic organ disorders. The role involves developing individualized treatment plans, providing hands-on therapy techniques, and guiding patients through targeted rehabilitation exercises. You will work closely with patients to improve strength, function, and quality of life while maintaining a supportive and confidential care environment. Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach are essential.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide applicable physical therapy care according to the specific needs of the patient.

  • Proper evaluation of the patient's condition and developing treatment plans according to their needs, with specific time frames and achievable goals.

  • Accurate documentation of progress notes, charts, referrals, and communicating reports to the supervisor and other members of the team.

  • Consistent updating of the progress of ongoing and new patients; able to gather and analyze information precisely and skillfully

  • Provide parent education and training if needed.

  • Assist in the proper discharge of patients once goals are established and the patient has acquired sufficient benefit from therapy and has no need for further sessions.

  • Other administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist

  • Experience in Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy is required

  • Active Physical Therapy license for the State of California

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program

  • Current CPR certification

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Possession of excellent interpersonal, time management, problem-solving, and self-initiation skills

  • Authorized to work in the US
