Compensation:  $35 - $40 Hourly  +  sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 to qualified candidates

Overview:

Nexus HR is seeking a Physical Therapist in Baltimore, MD, for a reputable healthcare facility in Baltimore, MD. The facility offers various services to support patients' health and wellness, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and primary care. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and collaboration skills, experience working with various patient populations, and proficiency in documentation of EMR/EHR systems. A passion for patient care and continuous learning in rehabilitation techniques is essential.

About the Job:

The position involves assessing and treating patients recovering from various conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, and using therapeutic exercises and manual therapy. The Physical Therapist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and track patient progress to ensure adequate recovery.

Hours: M - F | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM 

Job Type: Part-time, Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients’ physical conditions and design treatment plans to enhance mobility and function.

  • Formulate care strategies using diverse therapeutic methods.

  • Develop individualized fitness and wellness programs tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

  • Deliver high-quality, personalized care through evidence-based practices and effective interventions.

  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and optimal patient outcomes.

  • Keep detailed, accurate, and up-to-date records of patient progress.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in PT or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • 1 year experience as a Physical Therapist

  • Maryland State License in Physical Therapy

  • BLS CPR Certification
