Speech Language Pathologist - (Per diem) Johns Creek, GA
Compensation: $70,000 to $90,000/annually
Overview: Nexus HR is seeking an ideal Speech Language Pathologist who can address complex therapeutic challenges while effectively balancing independent patient care with team collaboration.
About the Job
Must be currently licensed in Georgia. Both new graduates and experienced clinicians are welcome to apply, as we provide supervision and mentorship. Must demonstrate the ability to work with families and caregivers to integrate therapeutic techniques into the family's interests and routines.
Must have the ability to evaluate and treat disorders and delays affecting patients' ability to perform daily activities and achieve their educational goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat children with communication disorders, speech and language delays, swallowing, and articulation disorders.
Complete and submit accurate documentation for all corresponding treatments provided (SOAP notes, Evaluations, & Plan of Cares).
Participate in monthly case management meetings to review goals and therapeutic progress your patients are making with other clinical disciplines/teams.
Work in close relationship with the administrative team to provide high quality, administrative customer service.
Complete job duties and tasks under the clinical supervision of the Clinical Director of Allied Health Services.
Know and become compliant with HIPAA and how it relates to the scope of the position.
Work within the clinic’s existing business solutions and add value to these resources.
Abide by all confidentiality requirements.
Act in a manner conducive to the role that is being conferred during this agreement in accordance with the values and mission of the company.
Participate in marketing or community awareness activities related to fulfilling the company’s goals associated with growth and awareness.
Qualifications:
Must be licensed in the state where they intend to practice (e.g., licensed in Georgia for those practicing in Johns Creek, GA).
New graduates and experienced clinicians are welcome to apply.
Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
Ability to evaluate and diagnose patients' physical conditions.
Competence in developing individualized treatment plans to address specific physical issues and goals.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Strong analytical skills to assess patients' progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
Able to work in Georgia.
