Compensation: $200,000 - $300,000 annually | DOE
Overview: Nexus HR is looking for a full-time Rheumatologist for a reputable specialized clinic in Denver, CO. The ideal Rheumatologist will have at least two years of experience as a licensed Rheumatologist and an active DEA license.
About the Job
The Rheumatologist will review patient history, medical records, and laboratory results to assess and diagnose disorders in the musculoskeletal system, soft tissues, and connective tissues; identify any possible heritable connective tissue disorders; manage rehabilitation programs for patients and provide necessary care accordingly.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Investigate symptoms manifested by patients to identify possible rheumatic disease.
Diagnose rheumatic diseases by reviewing patient data, medical records, and laboratory and diagnostic results of patients.
Recommend necessary laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures to help identify and diagnose rheumatic diseases.
Treat inflammatory arthropathies, systemic conditions, connective tissue, soft tissue, and metabolic bone diseases.
Create management and treatment/rehabilitative plans to address each patient’s needs.
Create a customized treatment plan if needed.
Coordinate with primary care medical professionals and other medical specialists to provide holistic and comprehensive patient care.
If necessary, refer patients to other medical specialists or receive patients referred by other medical specialists or primary medical professionals.
Qualifications:
2 years of Rheumatologist experience
Licensed as a Rheumatologist
Licensed to practice in Colorado
Active DEA license
Active participation in continued medical education and membership in a professional organization is highly preferred
Must be willing to work with the students and precept
Able to work in Denver, Colorado
Must be willing to work well with others and be flexible on certain days
