About the Job

We are hiring a Family Medicine Physician who will be responsible for delivering primary care services to patients of all ages, ensuring high-quality treatment and preventive care. The role requires excellent diagnostic skills, strong communication abilities, and adherence to state and federal medical regulations. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and record a detailed medical history of each patient, including chief complaints, present conditions, personal history, and family history.

  • Perform complete physical examinations to evaluate primary care conditions and determine the need for referrals.

  • Analyze reports, test results, and personal examinations to assess patient conditions, diagnose illnesses or injuries, and develop treatment plans.

  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff to coordinate patient care.

  • Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare providers as necessary.

  • Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans in accordance with medical guidelines.

  • Perform clinical procedures within the scope of training and expertise.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record systems.

  • Prepare reports, claims, and correspondence related to professional services while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

  • Demonstrate integrity, care, and compassion in interactions with patients, families, and staff.

  • Adhere to organizational privacy, security, and compliance policies, including HIPAA, OSHA, and other applicable regulations.

  • Maintain patient confidentiality and access patient information only as necessary for business purposes.

  • Report any unethical, fraudulent, or unlawful behavior in accordance with corporate integrity and security obligations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the employer that align with professional medical services.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in family medicine.

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.

  • Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in Ohio.

  • Board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

  • Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems; knowledge of and adherence to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.

  • Authorized to work in the US.
