We are hiring a Family Medicine Physician who will be responsible for delivering primary care services to patients of all ages, ensuring high-quality treatment and preventive care. The role requires excellent diagnostic skills, strong communication abilities, and adherence to state and federal medical regulations. Duties and Responsibilities:
Obtain and record a detailed medical history of each patient, including chief complaints, present conditions, personal history, and family history.
Perform complete physical examinations to evaluate primary care conditions and determine the need for referrals.
Analyze reports, test results, and personal examinations to assess patient conditions, diagnose illnesses or injuries, and develop treatment plans.
Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff to coordinate patient care.
Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare providers as necessary.
Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans in accordance with medical guidelines.
Perform clinical procedures within the scope of training and expertise.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record systems.
Prepare reports, claims, and correspondence related to professional services while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Demonstrate integrity, care, and compassion in interactions with patients, families, and staff.
Adhere to organizational privacy, security, and compliance policies, including HIPAA, OSHA, and other applicable regulations.
Maintain patient confidentiality and access patient information only as necessary for business purposes.
Report any unethical, fraudulent, or unlawful behavior in accordance with corporate integrity and security obligations.
Perform other duties as assigned by the employer that align with professional medical services.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in family medicine.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in Ohio.
Board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems; knowledge of and adherence to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
Authorized to work in the US.
