Nexus HR is seeking an Occupational Therapist in Baltimore, MD, for a reputable healthcare facility in Baltimore, MD. The facility offers various services to support patients' health and wellness, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and primary care. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and collaboration skills, experience working with various patient populations, and proficiency in documentation of EMR/EHR systems. A passion for patient care and continuous learning in rehabilitation techniques is essential.
About the Job:
The position involves assisting clients who have suffered from injuries or disabilities and helping them regain their ability to work. Your duties will include conducting physical assessments of clients, developing treatment plans, evaluating clients' work and home environments, and creating customized physical rehabilitation programs.
Hours: M - F | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Job Type: Part-time, Full-time
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assess patients’ physical conditions and design treatment plans to enhance mobility and function.
Formulate care strategies using diverse therapeutic methods.
Develop individualized fitness and wellness programs tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
Deliver high-quality, personalized care through evidence-based practices and effective interventions.
Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and optimal patient outcomes.
Keep detailed, accurate, and up-to-date records of patient progress.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science or master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited academic program.
1-year experience as an Occupational Therapist
Current license to practice Occupational Therapy by the Maryland Board of Occupational Therapy Practice.
Current American Heart Association Healthcare provider BLS CPR certification.
