Overview: Nexus HR is looking for a Senior Sales Executive for a growing healthcare services company. This remote/hybrid role focuses on driving business growth through strategic lead generation, relationship management, and full-cycle sales execution. The ideal candidate has experience in complex B2B sales, particularly within the healthcare or payor services industry. About the Job
The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end sales initiatives, including prospecting, client engagement, and closing deals. You will also mentor junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored client solutions. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, relationship-building expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive business growth by identifying and qualifying high-value leads through market research, networking, and strategic prospecting.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders across client organizations.
Manage the full sales cycle—from initial outreach to negotiation, proposal development, and closing complex deals.
Develop and execute tailored sales strategies for large-scale, multifaceted deals involving multiple stakeholders.
Accurately forecast sales pipeline, analyze trends, and prepare regular sales reports and performance metrics for leadership.
Mentor junior sales team members, sharing best practices and guiding them through technical and procedural challenges.
Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity to inform business strategy and identify opportunities.
Prepare and submit RFPs, proposals, and client presentations.
Ensure high-quality service delivery in accordance with company standards.
Attend workshops and participate in professional organizations to stay updated on industry best practices and maintain technical acumen.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of sales and account management experience, preferably in healthcare or payor services.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Certified Sales Professional (CSP) certification is a plus.
Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
Strong skills in lead generation, sales planning, closing deals, and client relationship management.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to analyze data and market trends to develop actionable strategies.
Prior experience mentoring or leading junior sales staff.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
