The ideal candidate has experience in complex B2B sales, particularly within the healthcare or payor services industry. This is a high-impact role offering flexibility, performance-based incentives, and the opportunity to lead and mentor within a dynamic sales environment.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end sales initiatives, including prospecting, client engagement, and closing deals. You will also mentor junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored client solutions. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, relationship-building expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth by identifying and qualifying high-value leads through market research, networking, and strategic prospecting.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders across client organizations.

  • Manage the full sales cycle—from initial outreach to negotiation, proposal development, and closing complex deals.

  • Develop and execute tailored sales strategies for large-scale, multifaceted deals involving multiple stakeholders.

  • Accurately forecast sales pipeline, analyze trends, and prepare regular sales reports and performance metrics for leadership.

  • Mentor junior sales team members, sharing best practices and guiding them through technical and procedural challenges.

  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity to inform business strategy and identify opportunities.

  • Prepare and submit RFPs, proposals, and client presentations.

  • Ensure high-quality service delivery in accordance with company standards.

  • Attend workshops and participate in professional organizations to stay updated on industry best practices and maintain technical acumen.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales and account management experience, preferably in healthcare or payor services.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

  • Certified Sales Professional (CSP) certification is a plus.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tracking tools.

  • Strong skills in lead generation, sales planning, closing deals, and client relationship management.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to develop actionable strategies.

  • Prior experience mentoring or leading junior sales staff.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
