  • Build and maintain long-term, consultative relationships with key stakeholders at payor companies, understanding their operational pain points and providing tailored solutions.

  • Manage the full sales process from prospecting through proposal development, negotiations, and contract closure.

  • Execute customized sales strategies for high-value deals involving multiple stakeholders and complex decision-making processes.

  • Accurately maintain and report sales pipeline activities, performance metrics, and forecasts to leadership.

  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and changes within the healthcare and payor sectors to identify emerging opportunities.

  • Provide coaching and support to junior sales staff, promoting best practices and continuous development across the sales team.

  • Prepare compelling proposals and lead the bidding process for RFPs in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales and account management experience, preferably in healthcare or payor services.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.

  • Certified Sales Professional (CSP) certification is a plus.

  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and close high-value deals.

  • Expertise in CRM systems, sales tracking, and pipeline management.

  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

  • Experience in mentoring or coaching junior sales staff.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic business computing tools.

  • In-depth understanding of medical coding solutions and healthcare payor operations.

  • Knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment within healthcare.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
