Certified Medical Assistant - Irving. TX

Compensation:  $18 - $23 hourly

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both clinical and administrative tasks with a focus on high-quality, compassionate patient care. This role involves direct patient interaction, assisting medical staff, and supporting daily clinic operations in a fast-paced setting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clinical Duties: Perform blood draws, prepare platelet-rich plasma (PRP), assist with procedures, and administer radial shockwave therapy under supervision.

• Patient Care: Room patients, take vital signs, and ensure patients feel informed and supported throughout their visit.

• Room Maintenance: Clean and restock exam rooms to maintain a sterile and organized environment.

• Equipment Handling: Utilize medical equipment for venipuncture, manual blood pressure checks, and clinical assessments.

• Ad Hoc Tasks: Support clinic operations with additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant

• 1+ years of experience in IV insertion and venipuncture

• BLS Certification 

• Proficiency in medical terminology, EHR systems, and patient intake

• Experience in urgent care or dermatology 

• Bilingual in Spanish
