Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage nursing staff to ensure high standards of patient care.
Develop and implement policies and procedures that comply with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.
Coordinate patient care activities and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize treatment plans.
Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care strategies as necessary to improve results.
Provide training and mentorship to nursing staff, promoting professional development.
Manage staffing schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
Qualifications:
Current RN license in the state of practice.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; Master’s degree preferred.
Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience in patient care management and medication administration.
