Licensed Vocational Nurse - Irving, TX

Compensation:  $30 - $35 hourly 

Clinic Hours: Monday – Thursday | 7:00 am – 5:00 pm

Friday | 7:00 am – 3:00 pm

Overview: Nexus HR is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at a Regenerative Medicine and Wound Care Clinic. About the Job

The LVN provides direct patient care and clinical support in the management of acute and chronic wounds under the supervision of physicians and NPs. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining compliance with medical standards and clinic protocols.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in wound assessments, dressing changes, debridement support, and wound care treatments as directed.

• Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and wound healing status.

• Educate patients and caregivers on wound care, infection prevention, and home management.

•  Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.

• Ensure wound care supplies are stocked, organized, and available.

• Assist physicians and NPs with procedures and follow-up care.

• Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control standards.

• Provide supportive communication with patients to promote healing and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications:

•  Current Texas LVN license in good standing.

•  Minimum of 1 year clinical experience, wound care experience preferred.

• Wound Care Certification (WCC, CWCN, or equivalent) is highly desirable.

•  Knowledge of wound care products, dressings, and treatment protocols is a plus.

•  Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
