Compensation:  $40 - $45 hourly 

Clinic Hours: Monday – Thursday | 7:00 am – 5:00 pm

Friday | 7:00 am – 3:00 pm

Overview: Nexus HR is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at a Regenerative Medicine and Wound Care Clinic. The clinic is experiencing rapid growth and offers a collaborative, innovation-driven environment where providers are empowered to elevate patient outcomes through advanced wound care and rehabilitative therapies.

About the Job

The RN is responsible for providing comprehensive wound care services, including assessment, treatment planning, and patient education. This role works closely with physicians, LVNs, and medical assistants to deliver high-quality wound care and ensure continuity of treatment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform wound assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based wound care treatments.

  • Conduct advanced wound care procedures such as debridement (as permitted by licensure).

  • Monitor healing progress and adjust care plans accordingly.

  • Educate patients and families on wound care management, nutrition, and lifestyle factors affecting healing.

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.

  • Accurately document all care and patient interactions in the EMR system.

  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and clinic policies.

  • Serve as a resource for LVNs and MAs, providing mentorship and clinical guidance.

  • Participate in ongoing wound care education, certifications, and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Current Texas RN license in good standing.

  • Minimum of 2 years nursing experience; wound care or related specialty experience strongly preferred.

  • Wound Care Certification (WCC, CWCN, or equivalent) is highly desirable.

  • Strong patient education and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Proficient in EMR systems and clinical documentation.
