Compensation: $20 - $35 per hour DOE

This role plays an essential part in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care focused on hormone therapy and men’s health services. This opportunity is with a rapidly growing men’s health clinic dedicated to helping patients improve their overall well-being, confidence, and quality of life through hormone therapy, advanced treatments, and personalized care. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting providers and patients by performing clinical tasks such as taking vitals, administering treatments, drawing labs, and assisting with specialized procedures. This is a hands-on, patient-facing role in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where compassion, professionalism, and the ability to discuss sensitive health concerns with empathy are essential.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients to exam rooms, record vital signs, and ensure accurate documentation.

  • Gather patient history, triage, and relay information to medical staff.

  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments per provider instructions.

  • Educate and engage patients on sensitive health topics, including testosterone therapy.

  • Build long-term patient relationships by fostering trust and confidence.

  • Perform venipuncture, collect and process lab specimens, and follow documentation protocols.

  • Assist with clinical procedures such as Pulse and PRP treatments.

  • Ensure efficiency in workflow to minimize wait times and enhance patient satisfaction.

  • Complete all charting and documentation accurately and promptly.

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in a medical or clinical support role preferred.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare training preferred.

  • Current certification or licensure as a Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to discuss sensitive health concerns with professionalism and empathy.

  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
