Certified Phlebotomy Technician I - Newman, CA

Compensation: $22 - $24 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.

• Collect, label, and handle specimens in compliance with laboratory requirements.

• Ensure patient safety and comfort during the collection process.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of phlebotomy equipment and workstations.

• Follow infection control and safety protocols consistently.

• Accurately document patient information and specimen details.

• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professionalism at all times.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on phlebotomy experience with a high volume of venipuncture required.

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Current California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I (CPT I) license required.

• Demonstrated high-level venipuncture skills, specimen handling, and accurate data entry.

• Strong understanding of laboratory safety, infection control, and compliance procedures.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
