Compensation: $185,000 - $225,000 per year

Nexus HR is looking for an experienced dentist for a federally qualified health center that provides Behavioral Health, Dental, and Medical services located in Humboldt County, a beautiful part of Northern California, and assisting us in continuing to provide a strong commitment to long-term care for the whole family.
About the Job
The General Dentist helps people establish improved oral hygiene practices while also diagnosing and treating dental problems. To maintain the health of the teeth and mouth, they do procedures including extractions and surgeries, clean teeth, fix bite problems, and other tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Discuss with patients the best dental healthcare options.
Discuss and educate patients on best oral care practices.
Examine patients’ teeth and oral cavities, diagnose and recommend procedures as needed.
Document and maintain accurate records of a patient's dental health history.
Operate dental equipment as needed.
Perform tooth extractions and other basic dental procedures such as filling cavities.
Perform root canals and other more complex dental procedures.
Refer patients to appropriate specialists as needed.
Perform root canals, including molar root canals
Qualifications:
Doctorate in dental medicine or dental surgery
At least 2-year experience in dentistry or GPR
Dental License
DEA license without restriction
Licensed to practice in California
Comfortable treating patients of all ages
Active participation in continued medical education and membership to a professional organization is highly preferred
Able to work on-site full-time
Authorized to work in the US
