Compensation: $300K - $400K per year DOE

This opportunity is for a client seeking an experienced Pain Management Physician to provide high-quality care to patients suffering from various pain conditions. The position is located in Vacaville and Sacramento, CA, with a focus on both clinical evaluation and interventional procedures. The physician will work closely with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management, interventional therapies, and patient education. This role is ideal for a candidate who is committed to improving patient outcomes and has expertise in managing complex pain cases.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a variety of pain conditions, including musculoskeletal, neuropathic, and post-surgical pain.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating medication management, interventional procedures, and rehabilitation strategies.

  • Perform pain management procedures such as injections, nerve blocks, and other interventional techniques as appropriate.

  • Collaborate closely with physical therapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to pain management.

  • Manage patients’ records accurately and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.

  • Educate patients and their families regarding treatment options, prognosis, and pain management strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in pain management or related specialty.

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

  • Must hold a valid and unrestricted California medical license.

  • Active and unrestricted DEA license.

  • Board certification in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation preferred.

  • Proficiency in interventional pain procedures, patient evaluation, and developing individualized treatment plans. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Knowledge of chronic pain management, work-related injuries, medication management, and procedural interventions.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
